WPSentinel is a WordPress site monitoring and management platform. The data controller for personal data collected through this service is WPSentinel, with registered address at [address].
2. Data we collect
We collect the following personal data when you use WPSentinel:
- Account data: full name, email address, and password (stored as a hash).
- Site data: URLs, WP API credentials, version and plugin information.
- Usage data: activity logs, errors, and aggregated performance metrics.
- Payment data: processed by Stripe. WPSentinel does not store card numbers.
3. Purposes of processing
We use your data to:
- Provide the WordPress site monitoring service.
- Send you alerts about updates, vulnerabilities, and backups.
- Manage billing and technical support.
- Improve and debug the platform.
4. Legal basis
Processing is based on the performance of the service contract accepted during registration, and where applicable, on WPSentinel's legitimate interest in improving its service.
5. Data retention
Account data is retained while the subscription is active and for up to 90 days after cancellation. Payment data is managed by Stripe in accordance with their own retention policy.
6. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, object to, and port your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, contact privacy@wpguard.io.
7. Cookies
WPSentinel uses strictly necessary cookies for session authentication. We do not use third-party tracking cookies or advertising.
